Warrenton High School
Our partnership with Warrenton High School has been one of our most rewarding programs. Students learn hands-on hatchery operations, from egg incubation through release, using Reddzone equipment in their school's facility.
This program has produced measurable results: increased student engagement in STEM subjects, successful fish releases into local waterways, and a new generation of conservation-minded community members.
Tribal Schools Partnership
Reddzone has partnered with five tribal schools to establish hatchery education programs. These programs combine traditional ecological knowledge with modern incubation technology, creating a bridge between cultural heritage and contemporary conservation practices.
Each school receives a complete Instant Hatchery system along with comprehensive training for both teachers and students. The programs have successfully raised and released thousands of fish into tribal waterways.
Egg Planting Research - Coos Bay
In partnership with the Coos Bay BLM, Reddzone has been developing innovative egg planting techniques using our portable incubation equipment. This research aims to improve survival rates for wild fish populations by placing incubated eggs directly into natural stream gravels.
Early results have been promising, with survival rates significantly higher than traditional methods. This work has the potential to transform how agencies approach fish population recovery.
Tribal Partnerships
Reddzone works directly with the Nez Perce Tribe and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife on salmon and steelhead recovery programs. Our equipment is designed to meet the specific needs of tribal fisheries management programs.
These partnerships have resulted in the successful incubation and release of millions of salmon and steelhead eggs, contributing to the recovery of culturally significant fish populations.
Remote Conservation
Our Instant Hatchery systems have been deployed in remote locations across Arizona and New Mexico for native trout conservation. These portable systems allow agencies to operate temporary hatcheries in locations where permanent facilities aren't feasible.
From the Gila River to mountain streams in the White Mountains, Reddzone equipment is helping preserve native fish species in some of the most challenging environments in the American Southwest.
